FIRE STATION

My good friend's husband, Dave, is a firefighter. Yesterday, Whitney called and asked if Vince and I wanted to go visit him at work. Ummmm......DUH! Of course we wanted to go! It was a little overwhelming (meaning Vince was unusually quiet and shy) but I think he had fun. On the other hand, Whitney and Dave's little boy, Cooper, was a pro! He walked around like he owned the place! So cute!

Here's Vince running to the truck to catch Cooper:
You can't see him very well but that's Vince behind the wheel:
Checking out the uniforms and helmets:
Here's the truck we were checking out. The ambulance got sent out while we were there so they had to move the trucks around.
Dave kindly got all dressed up for us and gave Vince a hat:
Here's Dave, Vince, and Cooper:
Me and my little fire fighter:

Here's Vince and Cooper hanging out while they put the ladder back down before moving the truck inside:
Did anyone notice the fact that Vince's jeans were SOAKING wet? Well, while the firetrucks and firefighters were cool, this big puddle was AWESOME! Whitney compared today to Christmas. Dave and the firetrucks were the present and the puddle was the box it came in. The kids really could've cared less about the fire station but that puddle was the new hotness! Just look at the shear joy in their faces in the next few pics.

How could I say no to a little fella having so much fun getting SOAKING wet....but I'm not sure his shoes will ever dry out :)
