We tried out the new scooter today. He hasn't gotten the hang of pushing himself yet so daddy had to help but Vince loved it!

5 Little Monkeys

5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed is quite possibly Vince's favorite song. He sings it ALL the time....mostly when he's jumping where he's not supposed to be (the bed, the couch, on me....). I caught him singing it today with props!

Merry Christmas!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that Santa was good to you all! We thoroughly enjoyed our time together and the SNOW (since we didn't have to travel too far or go to work)! Tony and I opened our presents early so we got to spend all morning watching Vince open his gifts. That boy is a pro! Amongst a lot of other stuff, Santa brought him a giant castle (and a bunch of knights, horses, kings, etc):

A Batmobile and figurines:
A music player with microphone (which Santa put some of his favorite WIGGLES songs on):
Books, games, puzzles, remote-controlled trucks:
And a stocking chock full of toys:

But the castle was by far his favorite, even Dora agrees. I don't know if you can see her but Dora is on the stairs and he gets very upset if Dora is missing from the castle.

After playing for hours and getting a nice long nap, we headed over to Noni and Papi's for dinner. Everyone was already there (Noni, Papi, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Debbie, Alli, and Kendall). Vince LOVES having everybody in one place. Here we are posing in the snow. Yes, I am that crazy person running outside for a few seconds to snap a picture! Vince refused to go back outside for a picture with us :) Smart kid!

Boot, Scoot, and Boogie

We got our 2 favorite kids together for a gift exchange last week. Vince was so excited to give Hannah her presents (and by "give Hannah her presents" I mean "open Hannah's presents for her")! Here's Santa getting ready for the party!

We had fun exchanging gifts! Erin and I figured we should just switch out their toys every few months to save on toy buying! They always want to play with each other's toys anyway!

When CHEEEEEEESE goes wrong

My poor kid is so used to being in front of the camera that he just says CHEEEEEEEEEESE as soon as I whip it out.....but this is the result. Isn't that attractive?!?!?!

Anybody remember the movie Big where they played Chopsticks on that giant floor piano in FAO Schwartz? Maybe this will ring a bell:

Yeah, Vince's awesome godparents got him one of those for Christmas and he freaking LOVES it! It's kind of a running joke that Uncle Rob always buys Vince gifts that make LOTS of noise....this year was no exception! Thanks guys :)
