Chicken noodle

It's no surprise that Dom loves to eat....

 like really really loves it....

 especially baby chicken noodle...

 he literally steals the spoon from me....

 because I'm not shoveling it in fast enough....

 Anybody else wanna eat those chicken noodle covered cheeks of his???

There's only 1 other thing that makes him as happy as chicken noodle....

 and that's his big brother....

 like light up the room happy...

 like nobody else matters happy.....

Kentucky!

Have I mentioned how much Dom loves his big brother??  Probably because he's such a goofball and loves an audience.  

Don't you just love listening to a baby giggle?  Greatest sound ever!  Oh and yes, Vince is shouting "Kentucky".....thanks to his recent obsession with the Stack the States app on his iPad.

6 month stats

Dom had his 6 month check up yesterday!  Our big guy weighed in at 20lbs (75-90%) and measured 28 inches (95%)....which, if you've held that boy lately came as no surprise.  He's a biggin.  Poor thing got 5 vaccines but was an absolute angel all day.  

He found a new toy recently too:

 Yep, he loves his feet.

 I'm actually pretty amazed that he's that flexible considering the size of the belly getting in his way.

Just discovered this infant seat has a 22lb weight limit and considering that he's busting out of it.....

looks like someone will be getting a new seat soon....

Scavenger Hunt

Holy cow, it was almost 80 degrees today!  So glad we got to hit up the park with our favorite girls!  Erin and I wanted to get some exercise so we thought doing a scavenger hunt would entertain the kids long enough for us to get some walking in.  I found a scavenger hunt sheet on Pinterest (duh), brought a clipboard, and some crayons and we headed out.  They were in search of a squirrel (which surprisingly we didn't find), a bug, a dog, rocks, leaves, swings, trees, etc.  Vince was all about it and led the way.

Once we were done hunting, we had to swing and slide a few times.  

 Dom and Ellie got in the swing for the first time.  They loved it!!!

I love this weather.....just wish I was ready for shorts....must lose 10 more pounds!!!!
