Our week

We've had a busy week around here.  A week full of lego building.....
 brotherly snuggles.....
 squeaky clean boys.....
 raiding our brother's dresser....
picnic baskets....
 lunch dates at the park....

 chubby hands and graham crackers....
 happy boys....
juice boxes....(no, he didn't actually drink the juice box but he sure tried)
 fruit cups....
confused babies not understanding why the fruit isn't coming out yet....
 ants....(can't all be good, right?)
Hot Wheels sketch pads....
 an artist hard at work....
and lots and lots of drawings to hang on the fridge....
and grilled cheese sandwiches...
oh wait, I didn't get a picture of it b/c Dom ate the WHOLE thing (and 1/2 jar of applesauce and 2 cookies).  Time to start shopping at Costco and clipping coupons.

Another BIG announcement....no, I'm not pregnant.....Dom started cruising!  He's been pulling up to everything and standing up but today he cruised along the whole length of the couch (to get to his brother)...and quick too, I didn't even get a good video of it.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Look at that face....

Seriously??? How am I ever going to discipline this child?  Can you say no to that face?

Dunkin Donuts

Dom tried his first donut the other day and it was a cherry filled jelly donut...courtesy of his grandpa.    He was in heaven!

Can I just say that I absolutely positively LOVE this picture.  The sunlight, those big brown eyes, that cherry- covered-I'm up to no good but it's oh so good-mouth, and that little finger dipped in the filling...this is one of my favorite pictures of him.
No wonder he's such a chunk.....

And yes, grandpa's white shirt wasn't white by the end of the donut massacre.

Nationals

Tony's new company gave all their employees tickets to the Washington Nationals game today.  This was our first major league baseball game and Vince was beyond excited.....and only asked us about 1,023,980 times if we were there yet.  We drove up to one of the park n rides and took the metro into the stadium.  Again, Vince couldn't understand why it was taking so long....BUT finally we arrived and it was worth every minute!
 It was HOT HOT HOT!
He enjoyed a tasty hotdog, fries, soda, and ice cream....
And loved watching the players hit.
If we thought the drive up was bad, the drive home was excrutiating.  I'm not sure how people travel in that traffic on a daily basis.  About 3.5 hours and several pit stops later, we finally arrived to Grandma and Grandpa's house to pick up Dom.....which made it almost 2 hours past his bedtime.  A BIG THANK YOU TO GRANDMA AND GRANDPA for watching him ALL day....and part of the night.

We had a great day spending some quality time with Vince!  That kid is pretty great!

Summer Pics

I took some pics last week after it "cooled off".....boy, did I forget how hot 88 degrees still is (versus the 103 it had been)...I'm not sure what I was thinking.  I can't wait till the fall for pictures!  Enjoy!
