Bubbles and Eggs and Candy....what more could 2 kids want?

We met up with our buddy Hannah this past weekend and had a fun play date. Erin K brought bubble guns for the kids to play with.....what is it about bubbles that kids love SO MUCH?!?!?!

Then we did a mini-Easter Egg hunt (since I work Easter weekend):

And finally they devoured the goodies inside the eggs. Needless to say, there were WIRED for a little while but eventually crashed for the night.
We always love our Hannah-time and hope to see her again this week since Erin K is on Spring Break!

Family Fun Day

It was such a beautiful day (minus the clouds of green pollen everywhere) that we promised Vince a park play date, just the 3 of us! Tony stopped at Dick's earlier today to get him a lefty baseball glove (and came home with a few more items too). We packed up all our goodies and headed out to the park. This is our fun afternoon in a 30 picture nutshell (slimmed down from over 450..yes, I have a problem):

His new soccer bag (full of baseball and soccer paraphernalia). He couldn't wait to open it up and see what Daddy got him:

Helping Daddy set up the pop-up goal:

Is it just me or don't you love the "antique" look in some pics?

Then Vince decided to do tackle drills with daddy. He started from a long distance away and ran full-speed at Tony.....it was pretty funny to watch (and I was thankful I wasn't the one being tackled).

Have I mentioned that I LOVE these boys?

Couldn't you just eat him up?

We had so much fun playing and laughing together. I love family time! Anybody else taking advantage of this beautiful weather?

I'm telling Hannah

I picked Vince up from school today and some little girl came running up to give him a great big hug.....this is what he has to say about that:

16 Week Update

Here's my big belly at 16 weeks! I can't believe we only have 4 more to go till we find out what we're having! Time flies! My appointment this week was uneventful....which is a good thing. My blood pressure was perfect....YAY....now let's hope I can keep that going!
What you can't see under that dress (which is the very reason I'm wearing a dress)...is a nasty big ol' burn on my left upper thigh. You'd think I'd know by now that me being in the kitchen is just a bad idea all around. I was trying to make decaf tea (so I wouldn't feel so guilty about wanting tea all the time). When I went to pour the boiling water into the pitcher, it shattered, and the water went all over me leaving me with a lovely 2nd degree burn. It's healing and looking better every day but still pretty gnarly. It sure would've been nice to take some real pain meds occasionally but alas, Tylenol has been my friend.

On a happier note, our other good friends Justin and Sara are expecting also! She's due in November and we're so excited for them! So if you're counting, our "group" will be going from 2 kids to 5 in a matter of months....pretty soon they're gonna start outnumbering the adults!

Here's a few pics of me, Erin, and Sara from last year... you'll notice some things are going to change this year:

1) We won't be wearing bikini's (well, Sara might b/c she's tiny....but we still love her)

2) We won't be drinking wine from solo cups

3) We won't be out late drinking mojitos

We are very excited to welcome 3 new babies this year! Should be fun :)

I started a poll to see if you guys thought Vince would get a brother or sister. We find out May 3rd so we'll see how many of you are right :) Tell us what you think!

New Friends

We had a fun play date at the Children's Museum today with our new friends Kate, Lily, and Noah (wife and kids of a former pharmacy classmate of mine). Dummy me forgot my camera though so these are all taken with my phone...hence the poor quality!

We had a great time and hope to do it again soon!

Putt Putt

Since it was such a pretty day, I had the idea to take Vince golfing for the first time. It was SO much fun! He loved every minute of it!

High-five for a good job!

Tiger Woods he is not but he enjoyed it and talked about it the rest of the day! I have a feeling we'll be back A LOT :)
