Best big brother EVER

Since Vince is such a great big brother, Dominic got him this awesome Cars racetrack with chargeable cars. He's a pretty cool little brother too, huh?

Here's some proof of their brotherly love. I can't begin to tell you how amazing Vince has been. He is so sweet and gentle and loving. He makes me so proud. I sure hope it continues that way!

Funny story though. Overall, Dominic is a really good and quiet baby (more so than Vince was) but of course he has his crying fits. Tony took Vince to school yesterday and passed by the infant room with several babies screaming. Vince said, "that sounds like home, daddy". That kid is a riot!

Happy Birthday Dominic

I'm a few days late posting this but well....we've been a little busy :) As you probably already know, last Thursday, September 8, we had a beautiful new addition to our family. After a great 8 hour labor (yes, I said great), Dominic William graced us with his presence at 4:18pm. He weighed 8lbs 6oz and measured 20.5 inches long. He is absolutely gorgeous and has a full head of black hair. We are completely in love!

Everyone waited anxiously at the hospital. Uncle Patrick was even able to get out of work early to come visit and took some great pics. We owe our parents and Patrick and Julie a huge THANK YOU for helping out with Vince so much while we were in the hospital and at even our first day home to adjust.
I asked Vince what he thought the baby ate and he said "dog food". Just what mommy needed, a good laugh!
He has been nothing but sweet and gentle with Dominic.

Preschool 2

Yesterday, Vince started Preschool 2.....which I think is just like Preschool 1 but for "big boys" (at least that's what I'm telling him). Most of his friends and one of his teachers moved up with him so it wasn't a big change. He's mostly excited that he gets to start Karate (TaeKwonDo) next week. He's been practicing his "Hi-Ya" and "Judo Chop".

38 Week Update: My BP was 140/102 yesterday so the Dr sent me to labor and delivery for fetal and BP monitoring for about 1.5 hours. Dominic looked great and was super active and my BP went down while I was laying on my side so she decided to wait to induce till Thursday morning. We can't wait to meet our little fella :)

When will this baby be here???

As I sit here enormously, hugely, ginormously (yes, it is a word when used to describe me) pregnant, I can't help but wonder when this kid will make his appearance. Any ideas??? Leave a comment to let me know a date and/or time and we'll see who "wins".
