Shave and a haircut two bits....

Well, it was just a shave today. I picked up a Toy Story pretend shaving kit the other day...boy was it worth every penny! Vince loved shaving like daddy!

It also came with this cute little rocket mirror, as if he needed another excuse to stare at himself in the mirror.
We had such a great family weekend! I don't want it to come to an end! I love my boys!

Leaf me alone

We picked up a few leaves on our adventure today and made some crafts:

This one is my favorite b/c he did it all by himself:

Falling for Fall....

I LOVE THIS WEATHER (which really means I love taking pictures this time of year because the colors are amazing)! I promised Vince yesterday that we would go to the park today, so we did! Even better though our park has a museum/farm attached to it and he was so excited when I said we would go see the animals! We'd never been to that part before so I was hoping it wouldn't disappoint and it didn't! They only had sheep, cows, and a horse but they also had a bridge, rocks, and acorns.....need I say more, GRANDMA????? This boy loves to throw just about anything he can get his hands on into the water....a nice trick grandma showed him :) Anyway, this is basically just a picture post....enjoy!

For the record, I did have him in gloves b/c it was pretty chilly but that lasted about 5 seconds...he couldn't pick up rocks very well ;)

I asked him to show me his silly face:

This picture really captures our kid.....just all out, balls to the wall, crazy :) and I LOVE IT!
Ok, maybe this one does too:

Rain Rain Go Away....

As promised, we did some puddle jumping after his nap......and he was a happy boy!

Turkey Day Arts and Crafts

We woke up to a cold & rainy day so I thought it was best to stay inside and do some arts and crafts with my little turkey. I found some ideas for really cute Thanksgiving crafts online and Vince seemed to like them so that's how we spent our morning. I took all these pics with my phone so sorry for the poor quality.

The first was a hand painted turkey. He really liked me painting his hand and telling me which colors to put where. Bossy britches :) We made 3 of these (1 for our keepsake and 1 for each set of grandparents along with a little poem that I stole borrowed).
The next few are from after the turkeys were done and he went crazy with the paint. Thank you Crayola for easily washed paint b/c it was on me, him, the table, and the wall....but he had a blast!

Next we made another turkey but this time with traced hand and footprints. He really liked this one the most.
Can you tell which one Vince traced? HA! The bottom right is my enormous 4-fingered hand!
Voila! Our finished turkey! Pretty cute, huh?
Maybe we'll go jump in puddles after his nap :)

Lazy Morning......

Toy Story 3 came out on DVD today! I have been waiting for this day since it was released to theaters (b/c I'm not brave enough to take a 2 year old to the movies)! Yes, I was probably a lot more excited than he was but don't tell anyone, ok! Vince and I got up, got dressed (and by dressed I mean he put shoes on with his jammies), and went to Target. We got distracted by the cool new toys in the dollar section but eventually made our way to electronics and then home for some quality time! Blanket - check, popcorn - check, movie - check, sweet little boy to cuddle with - check.....we're all ready now :)
Oh, and I found these pics on my old camera (that Vince thinks is his) today and thought they were funny enough to share:

Don't you just LOVE those dark brown eyes :)
