For the grandmothers....

Warning:  This post contains too freaking many LOTS of gratuitous pictures of the boys.  Enjoy!

I LOVE the next 4 pictures in sequence.  I didn't think anything of them as I was taking the pics but I seriously laughed when I was going back through them

 ENOUGH MOMMY!

 Then it was Vince's turn......

I have NO idea how I got the cars to look like this but it's pretty cool....
Seriously?  How is my baby THIS BIG?

These are from a few days ago but I love them....

6 month stats

Dom had his 6 month check up yesterday!  Our big guy weighed in at 20lbs (75-90%) and measured 28 inches (95%)....which, if you've held that boy lately came as no surprise.  He's a biggin.  Poor thing got 5 vaccines but was an absolute angel all day.

He found a new toy recently too:
 Yep, he loves his feet.
I'm actually pretty amazed that he's that flexible considering the size of the belly getting in his way.
Just discovered this infant seat has a 22lb weight limit and considering that he's busting out of it.....
looks like someone will be getting a new seat soon....

Scavenger Hunt

Holy cow, it was almost 80 degrees today!  So glad we got to hit up the park with our favorite girls!  Erin and I wanted to get some exercise so we thought doing a scavenger hunt would entertain the kids long enough for us to get some walking in.  I found a scavenger hunt sheet on Pinterest (duh), brought a clipboard, and some crayons and we headed out.  They were in search of a squirrel (which surprisingly we didn't find), a bug, a dog, rocks, leaves, swings, trees, etc.  Vince was all about it and led the way.
Once we were done hunting, we had to swing and slide a few times.
Dom and Ellie got in the swing for the first time.  They loved it!!!

I love this weather.....just wish I was ready for shorts....must lose 10 more pounds!!!!

Baseball with Hannah

Vince LOVES baseball....and is actually really good at it.  He begged us to play all weekend so Sunday we headed to the fields with Hannah to play ball.
I think this was the most excited she was about the whole thing.....she wasn't pleased that she was duped into playing baseball instead of playing at the playground.

Eventually it just turned into one big race.....
 Aren't they precious?

Nathan's 4th Birthday

Today is Nathan's 4th birthday (Happy Birthday Nathan) but his party was last weekend.  Aunt Julie went above and beyond (as usual) to make it a fabulous pirate party!  Here are some pictures of the super cute decorations.

Uncle Patrick made these planks so the pirates could "walk the plank".

 Here's the birthday pirate himself....
 Then came the cake.....

and presents.....

Renaissance woman, Brandy, started making impressive balloon animals....

Somehow Dom slept thru all this commotion.....
 A few bubbles.....

And then an all out Nerf gun war.....
 Including the dads.....

What a super party for a super boy!  I can't believe Vince's is in 2 short months.....better start planning...

Happy Half Birthday

Dom turned 6 months old today!!  I can't believe how fast it's gone!  My sweet boy loves to smile and his laugh is infectious.  He has the softest chubbiest cheeks.  He absolutely adores his big brother.  He likes bananas, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, and squash.  He is not a fan of green beans.  He just started sitting up by himself about a week ago and is still wobbly sometimes.  He's starting to teethe and is not happy about it.  He loves his grandparents and is lucky enough to spend 3 days a week with them (his grandparents rock).  He's not a great napper but he sleeps like a champ ALL night long.  He's wearing size 3 diapers and mostly 12 month clothes with a few exceptions (like the 18 month shirt he sported today).  Oh, and he's got a cute little tooshie:

I could just eat him up.  Happy half birthday, Dom :)
